The Lexington Area Metropolitan Planning Organization is working to make Fayette and Jessamine Counties more walkable and bike-friendly communities. Often overlooked and underrated, bicycling and walking can be simple and pleasurable ways to stay healthy while protecting our environment and reconnecting with our community. Whether you are considering bike commuting, recreational riding, or looking for a way to stay fit, we hope to provide you with the resources and infrastructure you need to bike and walk in our region.
